Welcome to my new blog

I have had a blog – called Grains of Sand – since the start of 2008. Over the years, I have written close to 1,000 blog posts, and uploaded almost 3 Gigs worth of images. Unfortunately, WordPress no longer offers an independent space upgrade, and my ‘old’ blog has almost reached capacity.

I have thus decided to create a new blog, specifically focusing on places to see and things to do in and around the Western Cape – and beyond. In the coming months and years, there will be many posts about some of the wonderful places to be visited and explored in our beautiful country.
